Get Involved

Six ways to make a difference. Choose the path that fits you.

"We don't have to reinvent the wheel. We can help the people who are already turning it."

Pathway 1 of 6

I Need H.E.L.P

Find food, housing, veteran resources, and community assistance

Hunger Aid connects people to organizations and resources that can help. Use our resource finder to locate food pantries, housing assistance, veteran services, and more near you.

Start a H.E.L.P Project

Turn your community idea into action

You don't need to start a nonprofit to make a difference. A H.E.L.P Project lets you develop a community idea within the Hunger Aid framework. Submit your idea and we'll work with you to assess needs, find resources, and launch.

H.E.L.P Project lifecycle: Idea → Review → Needs Assessment → Approved → Funding → Launch → Active → Impact Reporting

Start a Hunger Aid Chapter

Build a lasting community presence in your city or region

A Hunger Aid Chapter creates a local presence for the mission. Chapters organize events, connect resources, support community partners, and build lasting impact. Chapters can be started in any city, region, or country.

Chapter process: Submit → Review → Approve → Establish → Publish. Submission does not automatically create an official chapter.

Become a Supporting Artist

Use your platform for community impact

Hunger Aid's Entertainment Against Hunger initiative connects artists with community causes. Supporting Artists participate in concerts, events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns. Artists should have an authentic functioning personal or professional website.

Artist process: Apply → Review → Verify → Approve → Publish → Renew. Listing does not mean Hunger Aid employs, manages, or represents the artist.

Become a Community Partner

Already serving people? Partner with Hunger Aid

Community Partners are organizations already doing good work — food pantries, shelters, churches, nonprofits, government programs, and service organizations. Hunger Aid strengthens legitimate organizations rather than competing with them.

I Have Something to Give

Donate money, food, equipment, time, or professional services

There are many ways to support Hunger Aid's mission. Financial donations fund events and programs. Food donations support distribution. Equipment, venues, professional services, and volunteer time all make a difference.

Do I Need to Start a Nonprofit?

Not every community idea requires creating a new nonprofit. Many people are better served by working within an existing structure. Consider these options before starting from scratch:

Start a H.E.L.P Project

Develop your idea within the Hunger Aid framework without forming a separate organization.

Join a Hunger Aid Chapter

Connect with an existing chapter in your area and build from there.

Become a Community Partner

If your organization already helps people, partner with Hunger Aid rather than duplicate efforts.

Partner with an Established Organization

Work with an existing nonprofit that already has the infrastructure you need.

Hunger Aid does not automatically provide fiscal sponsorship or replace nonprofit formation. Consult appropriate legal and financial advisors for your specific situation.
